Dave “Psycho Dave” Ortiz, “D.O.” to a lot of us, is an Orange County skateboarder and longtime part of the Skaterbuilt family. He came up in the late ’80s pool scene and shows up in era shots carving the Sign-In Bowl in Anaheim (’89) and in old PowerEdge photos always with fast lines and gnarly grinds.
He’s stayed close to the brand and the scene ever since. The HOT STIX launch led with his pro model, underscoring how central he is to the Skaterbuilt story and embodies the gnarlienes of early proto-pool skating.
